Q What is the maximum number of people allowed?
A The maximum of people allowed (from 1-17 people) depends on the boat type.
Q Is gasoline included in the price?
A No. You receive the boat with full fuel, but the cost of petrol will depend on the fuel consumed until your return. In case you choose an organized private boat trip or a scheduled semi-private boat trip the fuel cost is included in the excursion package you choose.
Q Does a special lesson (briefing) take place before any renting of the boat?
A Yes. As well as an update regarding the safety of your trip along with a technical inspection of the boat.
Q Is staying overnight on board allowed?
A No. Renting the boat is only valid for one or half a day.
Q Can I travel to Elafonisi by boat that does not require a license?
A Elafonisi beach is a protected natural place with a complex sea area with many reefs. You can travel to Elafonisi only if you own a speedboat license, if the weather conditions allow it and of course if you choose any boat trip to Elafonisi that includes a professional skipper.
Q How many nautical miles can I travel on a charter boat without a professional driver?
A With a rental boat without a professional driver you can travel up to 10 miles from the base from which the boat is picked up, for more nautical miles there is an option for an additional fee. The maximum number in total is 18 miles.
